Mid-Century Modern Residence // Town of Hunts Point, WA

The rolling lawn at this Roland Terry-designed home was renovated with turf stair treads that lead down to Lake Washington. The front garden was redesigned to improve the approach to the house and create a striking entry to the residence. Swaths of simple plantings give color year-round and pay homage to the architecture designed by one of Seattle's most important mid-century modern architects. The asymmetric design complements the residence and offers spectacular terraces to entertain on while enjoying picturesque views of the lake.
